Processing and Shipping

All items are handmade and take about 15 business days to make. Orders are processed in the order in which they are received.

Shipping is via United States Postal Service which takes about 3-6 days for most US destinations. Items are shipped Mon-Fri, excuding major US holidays. Shipping upgrades are available for a fee. Larger purchases can be insured for an extra fee. Please get in touch for details.

International orders are also shipped via United States Postal Service - First Class Mail, with an option to upgrade to a faster service. Packages may take up to 20 days or more to arrive, depending on the final destination. Please beware that additonal customs charges may be applicable and shall be borne by the buyer.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Pyrite and Pearls orders are securely packed in a jewelry bag, or in a white jewelry box.

If your order is a gift for a friend or loved one, I am happy to send it directly to the recipient in a gift box with a handwritten note. Please drop me a line with special instructions, the text of your message and the address of your intended recipient.

Custom Orders

Custom orders are most welcome. I would love to create something bespoke for you. Please get in touch with me for details.

Jewelry Care

Store your Pyrite and Pearls jewelry in a dry, preferably airtight place.
Don't wear your jewelry while bathing, swimming, sleeping, exercising or spray perfumes or other chemical sprays while wearing your jewelry. The chemicals in these products damage the finish of the jewelry and may cause it to discolor and/or tarnish. Put on your jewelry last, after applying all cosmetics.
Clean your pearl and gemstone jewelry with a soft jewelry cloth. Gold and silver plated jewelry can be gently cleaned in mild soapy water.
Sterling silver and gold fill jewelry can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth. I recommend Sunshine Jewelry Polishing Cloths.
Don't use strong chemicals or abrasive cleaners to clean your jewelry.
Hand knotted jewelry should be stored flat and not hung. Hanging will result in the silk stretching.
Avoid wearing pearls with wool. Wool fibers may scratch your pearls.
Pearl, gemstone and other stud earrings should not be worn while sleeping, exercising, swimming or bathing. These earrings are all individually set on surgical steel or sterling silver posts and the durability of the earrings can be negatively affected if they get wet.

Repairs

Pyrite and Pearls jewelry is delicate and while sturdy enough to withstand everyday wear, please handle gently.

Although uncommon, if your jewelry malfunctions or breaks within 2 weeks of purchase, I will repair the same at no extra cost. Please get in touch with me and provide pictured of the piece thats needs repair. Please ship the piece back to me. In case the piece cannot be repaired, I will refund the full cost of the item.

After 2 weeks, the jewelry has been worn and unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for how it is treated. I am happy to repair it for you for a fee. Please contact me for details.
